US History 10B Week 2
I thought it was really interesting to see the videos of the experiments. It really surprised me that so many people could commit awful crimes or be exceedingly cruel to others just by being told to by another person in a position of ‘authority.’ Seeing how easily influenced people are was a huge shock.
I also thought it was interesting to see the support of Hitler as he rose. The armies were very impressive, and their legs as they walked were really cool all aligned and straight! It’s really hard to walk in unison so I was impressed, and I’m sure people of the time were too. I understand now that Hitler was able to do what he did because took advantage of a horribly desperate people and anyone could’ve done the same.
